Just in case it’s not clear already, we’re not an employment or recruitment agency, so please don’t book with us if that’s what you’re looking for. We sell and organise amazing international travel experiences for the purpose of cultural exchange & education. If a trip has a paid work option, this is not mandatory to do and is there as a means to fund your travels only, and no fee is charged by us for this component. All payments you make are for travel and local support services. If you’re still confused, please get in touch.
Our Teach in the Czech Republic trip is designed to get you travelling, living and teaching English overseas as smoothly as possible. We’re here to help you from the very beginning, offering step-by-step guidance as you embark on a path to work and travel as an English teacher abroad. We arrange local cultural experiences and provide you with an internationally-recognised TEFL course which is essential if you choose to find work as a paid English teacher upon completion.
Arrive in the Czech Republic with the reassurance that you will be one step ahead of every other traveller or teacher in search of international experience in Europe. Once you’ve completed your TEFL in Prague, you’re free to take it with you to many countries in the world and embark on exciting teaching projects abroad. Or you can choose to stay for longer in the Czech Republic and earn a local income in various private language schools around the country. We’ll plan and organise all the surrounding logistics, our 24/7 emergency support team is always on standby, and our in-country partner will guide you throughout the entire journey and answer any questions that may arise.
Spend your time teaching in the Czech Republic, immersing yourself in the rich culture, exploring the romantic landscapes and jetting off to neighbouring European countries in your time off and leave the logistical stuff to us. Embrace a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to travel, live and teach in the Czech Republic and start making magic happen in the classroom of your dreams.
To qualify for this trip, you must have your high school certificate or diploma and you'll also be required to bring a laptop with you to aid your classroom duties as a teacher.
What extra costs will I have?
Flights, travel insurance, visa, criminal background check, souvenirs & spending money.
The beauty of this trip is that you have the freedom to create your own adventure. But, for a rough idea, this is how most travellers spend their first few days:
Once you’ve touched down at Prague - Václav Havel Airport, your private transfer will take you to your course accommodation.
The day following your arrival, you’ll be introduced to your TEFL classmates and trainers and prepare to begin your 4 weeks of training! You’ll get to experience some of the cultural orientation activities planned, such as a walk through the Old Town and Wenceslas Square, up to Prague Castle and Vyšehrad hill and past the iconic Charles Bridge. You’ll also receive your transportation pass which will give you unlimited public transport access for your first month in Prague.
During your TEFL course, you’ll meet with a visa and post-course accommodation specialist, who will offer you assistance when applying for a business visa, which is essential if you want to work in a paid teaching job in the Czech Republic.
After you’ve completed your TEFL course, our team will arrange a job interview with our partner language schools' recruiters so you can land a paid teaching English job, earning around $15 USD per hour so you can fund your travels. Or, you might want to take your new qualification to a neighbouring European country.
