To qualify for this trip, you will need to have 14 days of proveable child-caring experience, including experience with under 5 years olds, and meet the. If English is not your first language, you will need to be able to speak conversational English. As an au pair, you can not smoke or have suffered from any mental health or eating disorders in the last 6 months. You'll be required to obtain and pass a medical examination as proof.

The beauty of this trip is that your days will generally be filled with au pair duties, and then you’ll get time off and breaks in between to explore however you please! As a rough idea, here’s what you can expect:
It’s finally here - the first official week of your new life in New Zealand! Once you’ve touched down, a driver will take you to your included hostel accommodation, where you will spend the first 2 nights over your orientation session.
Head to your 3-day orientation in Auckland, where you’ll receive a SIM card loaded with credit, a 4-hour sightseeing tour around the city and important first aid training so you’ll be ready to start your au pair adventure.
Your host family will pick you up and take you to your new home. However, if you have to fly to reach your new destination, a driver will take you to the airport and your host family will pick you up from the closest airport. Spend your first week getting to know them, setting up your bedroom and navigating around your new neighbourhood!
