Our credit terms


Global Work & Travel is able to provide customers with credits to use towards future bookings for a variety of reasons. These terms and conditions apply towards all credits we provide and are in conjunction with our Trip Booking Terms & Conditions.


Store Credit (aka Global Dollars) can be redeemed through your travel concierge and used towards any product that our travel team retails or available on our website. This includes international flights (not domestic), hotels, hostels, car rentals, tours, holiday packages, and travel insurance. Your travel concierge may at their sole discretion also be able to redeem your credit towards other products if they are able to purchase them for you. Store Credits are not redeemable for domestic land and air transport at this time. Store Credits by default are valid for 24 month (2 years) and must be redeemed within this period from the date of issuance. The credit is fully transferable, however, authority from the credit holder must be obtained for all redemptions, and the credit is transferable in full only. Standard booking terms and conditions and cancellation policies apply. There may be additional restrictions or conditions applied by any third-party provider in relation to your purchase. Store Credits cannot be applied retroactively or towards a booking already paid in full. Should the price of the purchase exceed the credit value, any and all additional costs must be paid in full with an additional payment method at the time of purchase. Any purchases made with a Store Credit that are cancelled will be refunded as a Store Credit only, after all applicable administrative, third-party, and/or cancellation fees have been applied, with the expiration date of the original Store Credit applying. Store Credits are non-refundable as permitted by law, not redeemable for cash, and void if altered. Redemption of the Store Credit constitutes acceptance of the above terms and conditions.


Trip Credit (aka Refund Credit Note) can be redeemed towards any ‘Global Trip’ retailed by Global Work & Travel, being Working Holiday, Volunteer, Au Pair, Teach, Intern, Summer Camp, Tutor, Remote and Study only, not Tours or Flights. Trip Credits by default are valid for 60 months (5 years) and must be redeemed within this period from the date of issuance. Trip Credits are fully transferable, however, authority from the credit holder must be obtained for redemption. Standard booking terms and conditions and cancellation policies apply. There may also be additional restrictions or conditions applied by any third-party provider in relation to your purchase. Trip Credits cannot be applied retroactively or towards a booking already paid in full. Should the price of the purchase exceed the credit value, any and all additional costs must be paid in full with an additional payment method at the time of purchase. Any purchases made with a Trip Credit that are cancelled will be refunded as a Trip Credit only, after all applicable administrative, third-party, and/or cancellation fees have been applied, with the expiration date of the original Trip Credit applying. Flight Credit (aka Airline Credit) may be issued for flights that have been booked by either Global Work & Travel or the associated airline and can be redeemed through your Travel Concierge. In most cases, the Flight Credit will only be redeemable with the original airline that the booking was made. Any booking made with a Flight Credit must be of an equal or greater fare and tax rate. Flight Credit date validity is generally dependent on the airline and if no date validity is provided by the airline, will be 12 months from the issuance of the Flight Credit. The Flight Credit is non-transferable, non-refundable as permitted by law, not redeemable for cash, and void if altered. Standard booking terms and conditions and cancellation policies apply. There may be additional restrictions, policies and/or conditions applied by any third-party provider in relation to your purchase. Flight Credits cannot be applied retroactively or towards a booking already paid in full.
